The oldest exhibit of the museum is a clay kiln for pottery that dates back to the end of the Х century. Archaeologists found it in 2006 on the central island of the Brest Fortress. The construction of clay and stones is small – 1.10-1.30m – and its walls are preserved to the height of 30cm. However, its arch has collapsed. Inside the kiln, archaeologists found fragments of three pots. This is the most ancient construction of Biarescie at the moment.
