Dwelling of a Biarescie citizen of the ⅩⅢ century



A dwelling consisted of a dwelling house and household buildings. Prototypes were the buildings found during the archaeological excavations of ancient Biarescie. A log pine house had the dimensions of 3x3x3,5m. Windows were the width of one or two beams. The interior of a house consisted of a clay stove, a sleeping bench, another bench, a table, a shelf for tableware, and household items. Household buildings, barns and granaries were smaller. A paled yard was paved with chopped wooden boards.
