The basis of the artisan production of Biarescie was iron craft. In the layer of the XIV century in Biarescie, the remains of a forge were discovered with a large (2.2x1.25 m) forging furnace made up of large boulders and bricks. The blacksmiths of Biarescie successfully mastered various technological operations – forging, welding, soldering, turning, hardening, and polishing, which indicated the relatively high smithcraft technique and considerable experience of the masters.
